My daughter and I take photographs of unusual scenes and groupings of objects we encounter, especially when we travel. It is like our personal “Atlas Obscura.” I created this diptych from photographs taken at two different times and places: the small image on the top is a window seen on Portobello Road in London (2016); and the other is an abandoned building in Portland, Oregon (2018). The images are connected by their subject matter.
